Who Can Apply

  • South African citizens
  • Black female students
  • Completed Matric
  • Studying full-time towards one of the listed qualifications at a recognised and accredited South African university
  • Enrolled for second year, third year or postgraduate studies in 2027 (first-year students will not be funded)
  • Minimum overall average of 60 percent in your most recent year of study
  • Strong academic record and demonstrated leadership in school, university or community activities
  • In financial need
  • Students with disabilities are welcome to apply

What the Bursary Covers

  • Bursary funding towards tuition fees and related study expenses, paid directly to your university
  • Support for undergraduate (second and third year) and postgraduate studies
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics
  • Diploma in Logistics Management
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Transport Economics
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems
  • Exact bursary value is confirmed during the application process

Documents You Need

  • Completed KN Inzuzo Trust bursary application form
  • Copy of your ID document
  • Recent passport-sized photo
  • Matric certificate
  • Full tertiary academic record from first year onwards
  • Proof of acceptance or provisional acceptance from your university, on letterhead
  • Any high school or university awards for academic, leadership, sport or entrepreneurial achievement
  • Signed and stamped letter of reference from a teacher or lecturer (see page 12 of the form)
  • Financial statement or quote from the university for tuition, books and accommodation, on letterhead
  • Parents’ or guardian’s proof of household income (payslips, affidavit if unemployed, pension slip or SASSA grant proof)
  • Parents’ or guardian’s proof of residence
  • Detailed CV of no more than four pages

  1. Confirm you meet every requirement, including the 60 percent average and second-year-or-higher enrolment

  3. Complete the form in full and gather all supporting documents listed above, including your reference letter and a CV of no more than four pages
  4. Scan everything into a single clear file
