SAAGA Avocado Bursary - Full Details
Introduction
The South African Avocado Growers' Association (SAAGA) bursary is accepting applications for the 2027 academic year. It supports undergraduate students in the following areas: BSc Agric (horticultural science; agricultural economics/agribusiness). The closing date is 31 October 2026, so prepare your documents early. Note: the funder's rules require applications by 31 October of the year before the study year.
About the Funder
SAAGA represents about 17,500 hectares of avocado orchards, mainly in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, and funds students entering the subtropical fruit industry.
