Spa Manager - Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Spa Manager to lead our Spa Team and ensure the smooth operation of our beautiful Spa located near Hartebeespoort Dam. The Spa Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Spa, including staff management, customer service, marketing, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the wellness industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing a Spa or Wellness Centre.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement spa policies and procedures to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise spa staff, including massage therapists, estheticians, and front desk personnel
- Create staff schedules and manage payroll to ensure efficient operation of the spa
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the spa and increase revenue.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming spa environment for both staff and customers
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the spa's offerings and services
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality products and services for the spa
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Spa management or a similar role
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable motor vehicle.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services
- Familiarity with scheduling and payroll systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
