Category Management Space Planner - Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail space planning or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong internal stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with buyers.
- Knowledge of Bomm is advantageous but not mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Space Planning:
- Create generic and store-specific planograms based on buyer-approved ranges.
- Ensure all SKUs in the buyer’s range are accurately reflected in the planograms.
- Refresh data and import the latest 6-month data for accurate planning.
- Adjust space allocations based on days of supply and merchandising rules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review, refine, and finalize planograms.
- Publish approved planograms for supplier access via the Boxer FTP site.
Planogram Development:
- Develop planograms aligned to assortment targets, format, and cluster at SKU level.
- Upload and maintain planograms on the system for easy reference.
Ad-hoc & Project-Based Tasks:
- Update product images and dimensions in planograms.
- Classify new product introductions in CatMan DW.
- Contribute to exciting projects, including new store launches, revamps, and remodels.
