Financing Verification Consultant (Vanderbijlpark) - Job Description
Introduction
Validate member information in support of financing applications to prevent the processing and finalization of fraudulent transactions.
Responsibilities
Confirm and validate the following for all new member applications:
Identity, Employment Confirmation, Income Information, Banking Details, Credit Bureau information, Contact numbers (work, Cell, and home numbers), Next of kin details.
Confirm and validate the following for all existing member applications referred as per the fraud prevention module:
Identity matched against scanned documentation, Signature validated against membership application document and previous transactions, Income Differentials from previous application, Validate banking details,
Validate next of kin information,
Validate contact numbers (work, Cell, and home numbers)
Decline/Approve financing application in line with the Fraud prevention module.
Contribute to the comparative tracking of fraudulent transactions (number, trends, and type) against previous periods and industry trends.
Identify process/policy improvement opportunities to support the minimization of approved fraudulent transactions and make recommendations.
Develop and maintain good relations with respective Employer Groups and other external stakeholders.
Maintain good relations with all consultants and credit vetting department to ensure to ensure timely and efficient service to all members.
Attend to all telephone enquiries. Complaints handling from parties.
Required Qualifications

Essential / Minimum Post School Qualification -
Banking/Finance/Audit -
Essential / Minimum Computer Literacy -
MS Office Suite Experience:
2 years Administration / Auditing
1 Year Operational Contact Centre
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of the financial industry & quality assurance
Excellent telephonic and writing skills, time management, organized, attention to detail, fact finding, problem solving.
