Clover Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) is seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced technician to ensure high reliability of allocated filling line and support other filling lines. Responsibilities include fault-finding, root cause analysis, maintenance schedules and services as well as communication with maintenance and production teams.

Requirements

• Millwright (Trade Test)
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
• Computer literacy (Advanced)
• Code 08 Driver's license
• Work in confined spaces
• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain filling line

• Do fault finding
• Do Root Cause Analysis, finding root cause and preventative action
• Do and revise maintenance schedules
• Plan and do services and other planned work
• Ensure that relevant parts are kept in stock
• Ensure that parts are available for services

Ensure communication

• Daily report
• Breakdown after call out report
• Ensure that lessons learnt are shared with team
• Leading service an allocated line
• Report on major stops and actions required
• Complete job cards, schedules

Conduct ad-hoc activities

• Do work in a safe manner. Report unsafe conditions
• Do standby
• Involved in standby roster
• Do overtime as required
• Give weekly technical training
