Intercare Tyger Valley Sub-Acute Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Bellville, Cape Town, seeks to recruit an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation and good corporate governance in order to ensure satisfaction of customer needs, demands and preferences.
Responsibilities
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- To function as part of a team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- To maintain the comfort of the patient and do regular observations.
- To promote and maintain good communication skills with the multidisciplinary team and the patients’ family.
- To maintain patient confidentiality. To maintain effective recordkeeping as required by Intercare policies/procedures.
- To adhere to infectious control policy and procedure. To use resources appropriately without wastages and abuse of equipment and consumables.
Required Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Qualified as Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Registration with SANC
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in medical, surgical and geriatric care Previous experience within a Sub-Acute/Rehabilitation Environment would be advantageous
