TIPS TO STRENGTHEN YOUR APPLICATION
• Make your PSIRA Grade A certificate prominent in your CV — this is a hard requirement, not a "nice to have."
• Separate your supervisory and functional security experience clearly, since the requirement specifies 2 years of each distinctly.
• Highlight any IT security or document security-specific experience, not just general security management, since the role spans all three domains.
• Mention any experience running security awareness campaigns or training, since this is an explicit named duty.
• Reference relevant legislation by name — Criminal Procedure Act, OHS Act, Control of Access to Public Premises and Vehicle Act — wherever you've applied it directly.
• Submit the Z83 and CV as one combined PDF, with the correct reference number and job title in your email subject line.
• Quote reference HR4/26/06/11HO precisely to avoid disqualification on a technicality.
