Introduction
The Department of Cooperative Governance (COGTA) is recruiting an Assistant Director: Integrated Monitoring and Reporting System in Pretoria. This Level 09 role offers an annual salary of R487,197 and is ideal for candidates experienced in monitoring, evaluation, and municipal performance reporting.

Responsibilities
As Assistant Director: Integrated Monitoring and Reporting System, you will:
• Facilitate the development and implementation of policy and regulatory frameworks to strengthen monitoring and reporting
• Analyse and develop reports on municipal performance
• Coordinate national and provincial monitoring and reporting structures
• Develop and maintain monitoring and reporting databases
Required Qualifications
• A 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, or an equivalent NQF Level 6/7 qualification recognised by SAQA
• 3–5 years' experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook)
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively
• Generic competencies: planning and organising, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making, project management, people management and empowerment, client orientation, team leadership, diversity management, and communication
• Technical competencies: in-depth knowledge of monitoring, reporting and evaluation, strategic planning, outcomes-based approaches, analytical skills, research, and intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency
