The Department of Defence is recruiting a Personnel Official: Supervisor based in South African Military Health Service HQ, PSAP Nodal Point, Lyttelton, Pretoria. This position offers an annual salary of R338,106 – R398,277 (Level 07). Responsibilities
• Administer re-appointments of professionals (Medical, Allied, and Clinical)
• Manage transfers and detached duty processes
• Capture Commuted Overtime, Rural and Deep Rural Allowances, and Grade Progression
• Manage the restructuring of OSD packages
• Conduct salary audits
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
• Three (3) years' experience in a Human Resource / PSAP Maintenance environment
• Computer literacy (Word and Excel), organising and interpersonal relationship skills
• Basic knowledge of the mainframe system; HR courses would be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), Public Service Act (PSA), and Treasury Regulations
• Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Team-orientated, receptive to feedback, and enthusiastic in conduct
