Responsibilities
As Campus Manager, you will be entrusted with the day-to-day running and strategic support of campus operations, including:
• Overseeing infrastructure projects and maintenance programmes, including budgeting and expenditure tracking
• Coordinating needs assessments and schedules for major and minor capital works projects
• Developing and monitoring action plans for risk management and routine operations
• Ensuring compliance with the PFMA, supply chain management policies, and departmental prescripts
• Managing accommodation, transport, security, telecoms, and housekeeping services on campus
• Overseeing financial, procurement, and asset management functions, including loss control and audits
• Managing the departmental vehicle fleet, subsidised vehicles, and government garage reporting
• Providing human resource administration support, including recruitment, training, and performance management (EPMDS)
• Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
• Handling customer queries and complaints relating to the campus
Required Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate plus a National Diploma in Administration (NQF Level 6)
• A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in infrastructure support
• Sound knowledge of Public Service Regulations, the PFMA, procurement procedures, and EPMDS
• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
• Analytical, interpersonal, and report-writing ability
• Computer literacy and budgeting/financial management competence
